Our social impact
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that everyone should have
the opportunity to lead a full and aspiring life,
in a home of their own, with the right support around them.
In 2025, we extended our social impact by:
• Opening a new 16-person supported living service in Horley, in partnership with Surrey County Council
• Taking on the care and support of an individual with complex needs in Peacehaven
• Supporting 90 new people through our innovative Wellbeing Coaching programme
Supporting people to move
into their own homes
Across the country, too many people with learning disabilities and
autistic people are still in effect living in long-stay hospital settings
– often far from their loved ones and without the support they
need to move on.
We have shown over the last ten years that we can be a key part
of the solution. We have helped more than 50 people with
complex needs to take the step into a home of their own, often
for the first time. For many, this meant leaving behind years in
hospital, often cut off from family, community, and the chance
to make everyday choices about their lives.
Through personalised planning, trusted partnerships, and a deep
understanding of each person’s strengths and needs, we made
these moves not only possible but positive. Our teams work
alongside people and families to build confidence, develop life
skills, and create homes that are safe, calming, and tailored to
sensory, behavioural and physical needs.
We have devoted the following pages to the stories of five people
we support. These illustrate the far-reaching impact that our staff
have had on the lives of people and their families – and how with
the right homes and the right support, anything is possible.
