Our digital work is practical, inclusive and focused on reducing
risk as well as improving independence. Assistive technologies
such as Just Roaming, PainChek and sensor-based falls
detection are helping people live more independently while
enabling staff to respond safely and sensitively. Technology
is never a replacement for relationships; it supports choice,
positive risk-taking and timely support when it is introduced
thoughtfully and shaped around each person.
We made further progress in improving the quality, safety
and sustainability of our homes. Stock condition surveys were
completed across all of our housing stock, major planned
improvement works were delivered, and a new facilities
management system was introduced to improve repairs,
compliance management and performance monitoring.
During the year, 2,256 repairs were completed within agreed
timescales, achieving 94% compliance, and 730 compliance
inspections were completed, achieving 98% compliance.

The best thing about
technology like Just
Roaming is that it helps
people have more freedom
while still making sure
they’re safe. We have
been able to reduce some
of the restrictions people
have experienced in the
past and support them
in a way that feels much
more personal. Technology
isn’t replacing support,
it’s helping us provide the
right support at the right
time, while giving people
more choice and control
an organisation that can continue to grow safely, respond
over their own lives.”
Environmental sustainability was also embedded more strongly
during the year. We launched our updated Sustainability
Strategy 2025–2030, improved the average SAP rating of our
homes to 70.71, reduced residential CO2 emissions by 30.4%,
fitted solar panels to 15% of homes, created biodiversity
gardens and maintained all homes to low risk of overheating.
These actions support our commitment to safer, more efficient
and more sustainable homes for the future.
We also continued to strengthen governance, accountability
and feedback loops. The development of Active Prospects
Ambassadors is helping to create clearer routes for people
we support to share their views and influence Board thinking.
This builds on our wider commitment to Belonging, Diversity,
Equity and Inclusion, ensuring that organisational resilience is
not only financial and operational, but also rooted in fairness,
participation and the voices of the people we exist to support.
Together, these developments mean Active Prospects is better
placed to manage risk, evidence impact, meet regulatory
expectations and invest in long-term sustainability. By
improving systems, strengthening finances, investing in homes
to change and deliver lasting value for people, families,
commissioners, funders and communities.
